ordered this saddle to use off my new horse who has somewhat of a short back. Fits him beautifully! Needed this saddle to do multiple things from roping steers to trails to competing in cowboy mounted shooting. Its done them all great!

From ordering to receiving my saddle, I was not prepared for
The beauty that is this saddle. The saddle fits me and my horse great, very comfortable ride and all the straps , flank cinch saddle strings, latigo, are a super bonus, the tooling is not flashy but is perfect, and the rough out is exactly what I wanted.all said and done a top quality saddle at a good price,
Lightweight, easy to carry and use. Brownmill ranch also helped me put alot during the process of choosing

bought this saddle to replace a 25 year old Billy Cook roper. I purchased this specific saddle to fit my short backed QH and it does not disappointt. The saddle was comfortable out of the box and fit both of my horses well. I love the rough out hard seat and am very happy with the saddle.

got my Billy Cook Original saddle with the rough-out seat and fenders. The short, round skirt fits my short backed appendix QH like a glove: no rubs on his hips, perfect sweat pattern, and the tree even though its a wade ranch saddle is flexible enough to allow his big shoulders to move freely and his back to bend. Out of the box the saddle felt so soft and already broken in; no weird new saddle squeaks, no stiffness, and the pre-turned leathers are a gift from heaven! Everything about this saddle is quality. And after about six months of use and a little abuse I could not be happier. My horse even loves the saddle; he had a hard time picking up the right lead until his first ride in this saddle. The saddle actually fixed the problem! There are other saddles out there, good ones, but if you want a saddle that you will be thankful for every day: do yourself a favor and go for the Billy Cook Original accept no substitutes\. You will never regret it.
